Online Self Help Supports People Waiting for Treatment

The Scotsman reports on our online self help programmes for bulimia and compulsive eating, which can assist people on long waiting lists for eating disorders treatment on the NHS.  Working while waiting is known to cut recovery times and enhance the effects of treatment elsewhere.  In some cases, people recover fully and don’t need to follow on.  Deanne Jade, Principal, calls for GPs to be aware of this programme, which is the first of its kind in the UK.  You can access our online self help programmes at any time via the website www.eating-disorders.org.uk  and read the article by following this link
