Media Innovations, a spin out company from the University of Leeds, has developed a series of structured on-line Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to deliver beneficial and immediately available practical support for patients suffering from mild to moderate Depression, Anxiety and Eating Disorders such
as Bulimia and Educational support for carers of Anorexia sufferers.
CBT and evidence-based self-help therapies have been identified as two key priority treatments for bulimia sufferers by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), in its 2004 report ‘Core Interventions in the treatment and management of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related eating disorders’.
